At China Bistro, every dish tells a story older than dynasties — a story of warriors guarding ancient recipes, migrants carrying flavours across oceans, and families gathering around hot woks and spiced broths.

Our journey begins in the 5000-year-old kitchens of ancient China, crosses borders to the vibrant lanes of Tangra in Kolkata — India’s historic Chinatown — and finds its next chapter here in London.

We call our cuisine Retro-Chinese — a delicious revival of timeless recipes, smoky wok magic, and bold spices that once defined India’s original Chinese food culture.
